Voyageur Provides Update on Tunisian Operations

Sep 29, 2009

Tunis, September 29th - Voyageur Oil and Gas Corp. ("Voyageur" or the "Company") is pleased to announce an update on its Tunisian operations. Upon completion of the Borj El Khadra Sud 344 km2 3D seismic acquisition program, the seismic data was transported to CGGVeritas in Tunis for processing. Processing of the data started in early March 2009 and was completed in July 2009. The final processed data was then shipped to Canada for interpretation.

Voyageur Vice President of Exploration Duncan McMaster is currently completing an in-house interpretation of the data.  Voyageur has also engaged a third party geophysical consulting company to conduct independent data interpretations.  Interpretation is expected to be completed in early October 2009.

Pre-qualifications for a 2,000 HP Land Drilling rig have gone out to a list of reputable and available contractors.  Voyageur is making a firm commitment for a two well program and one optional well in 2010 to begin in late Q1 or early Q2 2010.
