Borj El Khadra Sud (BEKS)

Voyageur Oil and Gas Corp officially received the Borj El Khadra Sud Exploration permit in Q2 2007, and it was recorded in the Tunisian Gazette in July of 2007.  The BEKS permit is 45% owned by Voyageur Oil and Gas Corporation, and 55% owned by ETAP (Tunisian State Owned Oil Company) and consisits of a 2096 sq km (518,000 acre) oil and gas concession.  The BEKS block is located in the Southern Tip of Tunisia, and is near the center of the Ghadames hydrocarbon basin which covers eastern Algeria, Southern Tunisia and Western Libya.

Voyageur is one a number of oil companies active in the Ghadames Hydrocarbon Basin.

Exploration Program

Voyageur has recently finished reprocessing 1300 sq km of 2D Seismic previously shot in 1991 and 1998.  The results obtained eliminated several previously identified anomalies and confirmed the location of others.

Voyageur has officially begun the 3D seismic acquisition program over the BEKS permit.  The acquisition program involves 386 km2 of 3D seismic over the Northeast corner of the Block.  The program is to be completed by Q2 2009 with a 2-3 well drilling program to begin in Q4 2009 or Q1 2010.
