In September 2007, the Voyageur Team of Darren Stevenson, Matthew Stevenson, Duncan McMaster and Mongi Haffouz traveled to the BEKS Permit in Southern Tunisia.

The trip took 4 days and involved a flight from Tunis to Djerba and then a 12 hour drive along primitive roads to reach the southernmost portion of Tunisia.
